Do you think the Beliphiles will still be protecting their hero like a momma bear protects her cubs after Mac regresses and their record falls to 6-11? At least, Matt Slater will be getting paid well to run down the field on touchbacks.Worst AFC teams in 2022:
Jete
Texans
Jags
Patsies

Here we go again, conflating criticism with a hole trolling. smhHere we go again. Targeting of posters for offering their football opinions in a football forum.
There are dozens of posters that don't agree w/ what the team (i.e. Bill) does sometimes. So f*king what? That's what fans in every team forum do. Offer their opinions. You know, free speach. An American ideal.
An open forum that purges posters because their opinions aren't in line with a certain portion of the members isn't a forum at all. It's a group think cheering section. Where in the forum rules does it say you can't criticize the team, the coach, the owner or the players?
This place is becoming like Russia where protestors get arrested and vanish simply for holding up a sign. If you don't like a poster, put them on ignore. Pretty sure that's why @Ian spent so much time making the ignore feature user friendly.
BTW, signing a 36 yo Slater isn't going to help the team to get better than last season. That's the goal, to improve. Find young, talented "leaders" to lead. No 22 yo kid is going to listen to a 36 yo washed up SpTer for leadership. That's just nonsense. He's taking up a position in the 53. Find the 22 yo version of Slater that can play SpTs and contribute to the O or D. It can't be that hard for the genius in charge.

Of course you're going to have posters getting on you for all your negative posts....this is a Patriot fan site....that is who we root for. There is no "team bill"...he is our coach and the coach of our football team. I am not a fan of BB, but a fan of the Patriots. If you're unhappy with this team, you are more than welcome to express your opinion. It gets frustrating when every opinion is negative...it gets on posters nerves, as it does mine. Here we go again. The guy still plays at a Steve Tasker level on STs. Do you think these once in a generation special teamers grow on trees? The dude makes plays that help this team win every GD week. You need to bring more to the table that he's old and young 22 year old guys won't listen to him. That sounds more like a them problem than a him problem, actually. Yes they need to get younger, but there isn't anyone better at Slate's job in the league, 36 years old or otherwise.Find the 22 yo version of Slater that can play SpTs and contribute to the O or D. “Once in a generation Special Teamers”
L… O… L.
Matty Slater isn’t worthy of un-tying the laces of Steve Tasker’s cleats.
And yes, players like him actually Do grow on trees.
Whatever you say momma bear. What is the frequency, Kenneth?
Lotta tree talk in this thread.
Why sign a gunner on the punt team, when you cant force anyone to punt?
