Hardon was also just 5-for-5 at the free-throw line. He appeared to take a lot of hits, but he wasn’t able to get the calls he has gotten throughout his career.
“Tonight was just frustrating because I’m number one as far as fouls that don’t get called. It’s a fact,” said Hardon after the loss. “So it’s frustrating as a player. So when officiating tells you at halftime ‘We missed a couple of fouls’. That right there. There was some missed shots and fouls which would give me a rhythm to transition points for them.”
I’ve got nothing against Harden but that is just absurd comment. The flailing he does to bait the refs at every opportunity is so obnoxious. Has no right to complain about that.James Harden addresses the officiating and the offensive struggles after the Philadelphia 76ers fell to the Boston Celtics in Game 6.sports.yahoo.com
Sorry about the delay getting back to you. I've only been able to hit and run here lately. There is no way in hell that happened. That's ridiculous
Agree. But also Mazzula would not stand for that. He may be a young rookie HC but he ain't allowing that from anyoneSorry about the delay getting back to you. I've only been able to hit and run here lately.
I was joking about Smart saying no to Mazzula. Smart seems pretty aggressive but he doesn't come across as the type to do that.
Wish I felt more confident. Celtics seemed determined to let a good moment be followed by a bad one. Harden can be really bad, but he can also be really good. Hope we don’t get the latter. Celtics simply can’t let him go off.
It's true. Let's hope that changesCeltics seemed determined to let a good moment be followed by a bad one
I'm just hoping that Mazzula doesn't become the poster boy for the "coaches don't win games but can lose them" theory I've been pushing forever here.Agree. But also Mazzula would not stand for that. He may be a young rookie HC but he ain't allowing that from anyone
I know that I personally hexed game 6 of the bruins series. at least 3 times when I switched from the draft to the game, the panthers were either celebrating a score, or would score within the next minute.I wished we got the evening time slot ...
Going to eat at a nice restaurant in Rhode Island ... with my new wife and son.
Already had a reservation for 2:00 .... hope I can at least get home for the 2nd quarter ...
I mean when we watch don't we think we are helping them ... or is it a fan's torture ...
