Well we've been given the choice between arrogance or incompetence, so pick your favorite.
So you agree it was smart to let Revis go then? The fact they had months to get this done with the term"place holder" used by S Kraft? Your call.
Arrogance or incompetence. Your vote is?...........
"In Bill We Trust" card can't be used.

I never thought I'd read anything dumber than stuff I read in here during deflate gate. Somehow you found a way to write the dumbest thing I've read in years. This is a ban able statement.
Unsuccessful move from DL to OLB. I have a hunch BB would use him to much better effect than the Browns did.
Good post.

I reject the premise of your question, as those aren't the only options. I don't think Revis was going to choose the Patriots over the Jets if the money was the same, and the Jets structured the contract in a way that the Patriots couldn't match (I think I heard his cap hit this year would have been $21 million dollars). I obviously would prefer to have Revis over not having him, but the decision was made because they felt they couldn't field as good a team with that amount of money tied up in one corner (no matter how good), and I'm having a hard time disagreeing with that. It's neither arrogant nor incompetent. It's a strategy that has put them in the position to win every year, and put them in the position to acquire Revis for a year in the first place.

Sorry. Revis just tinkled into my corn flakes at breakfast! Sarcasm running amok! Something will come up but we all agree we are not a better football Team today and the Jets are. I am much better now. Fairly might come here...ha.

Very fair retort sir! O.K. If you look at in the beginning and say "Would you BUY Revis for a year only to win a Super Bowl", I would have to say ...yep!
You put that in perspective.
