That being said, if there ever was a skillset that would flourish in this offense, it's Percy's. All the short passes we run, the schemes to get the ball in space to our receivers, Percy would be scary as hell for defenses.
As far as a 3rd down back, I've seen Helu's name pop up. Living in DC, I've seen quite a few Redskins game and Helu is extremely underrated.

A lot of you probably don't know but Percy Harvin has raw elite talent. He was the number 1 player in the country out of H.S. His talent was unreal. Yea there have been some red flags with his character, but I don't mind his addition to the team if that were to happen

Vereen had only 96 carries last year, and that was his career high. I certainly understand people's hesitation about where to pay Harvin. He's not really a pure WR, and he's not a pure RB. He's like Hernandez, in the sense of legitimately being a hybrid guy.
