Should the patriots trade Welker?

If the Pats kept Welker, he'd only be on the field like 2/3 of the time. They are a 2WR, 2TE offense, and Welker's clearly the 3rd best WR at running those outside routes.

Which would be almost no change to what he does now (70-75%).

No it wasn't for many reasons. The biggest one of course being that no one is even thinking about trading Welker in the Pats FO.

All you have to do is click on the 10. And in all fairness, I'm pretty sure nobody at all would have predicted that Welker ended up being faster after his torn ACL than he ever was before it.

Yeah...that was a classic. We didn't get the game on TV here in NY and all I could think as the first half scores were shown was, "I'll bet the Game Day thread is off the wall today."...then, when I got online I wasn't disappointed...
