Should the club seats be changed from red to pink?

Kraft would not have owned the Hartford stadium and the club seat owners may have had to stay outside in the cold.

So you think that the stadium in Hartfoed wasn't going to have club seats?

No club seats in a modern stadium was never going to happen.

The media has been quite critical of the Pats fan noise in the new stadium.
The fact it is open at both ends does not help, but the red seats are usually
half empty if the temp drop below 40.

I actually think they should change the color of the red seats to pink.
Those fans are the pink hats of Foxboro.

The thing I miss most about the old stadium is all fans were treated equal.
The fans that were there longer had a better chance in the lottery of
getting superbowl tickets, but you felt you had a chance.

In the new stadium all of the club seats get superbowl tickets and the
remaining dozen or so (after the vendors and Krafts drinking buddies) go
into a lottery in which you have a better chance at hitting the daily number
than getting superbowl tickets.

From what folks who have been to the stadium often seem to say, the noise problem, while real, is probably due to how the stadium is built. Every team has corporate boxes and seats, so I doubt that is the problem.

Class resentment is a great American (and New England) tradition, but without Corporate dollars, the economics of the NFL wouldn't work (there'd have been corporate boxes in Hartford with or without the Krafts). My suggestion is to get over it or learn to live with it.

I think they should color them green like the scads of money the corporate bigwigs, not fans, spend on them. It's all a write off for corporations.

Did you have tickets when you lived in the area?
If you did, why did you give them up?

There were plenty of seats avaiable in the 80's and early 90's.
Why didn't you support your team when they needed you?

You never gave up on your team?
Truth is.... You never supported the Patriots.

It was lack of support from fans like you who
almost got the team moved to StLouis in the early 90's

I moved to Maryland in 1987 at the age of 21 after college graduation.

Sorry, I didn't have my own bank account until I was 18.

I never, ever threw them under the bus like you did because the marquee name went down with an injury.

Further, I after throwing them under the bus, I never had the unmitigated gall and hypocracy to complain about other people's lack of loyalty to the team.

Judge youself before judging others Joe.

That was a beautiful thread and a nice 180 degree bookend to this thread!

I am 48 years old & I have had season tickets since 1979.
I had season tickets before I had a car. I use to take a bus from Hermans
sporting goods at the south shore plaza to the games.

You love to bring up that post from 2008.
How do you consider this throwing the Pats under the bus?

The last line on the original thread.....
I will root for Cassel as I watch him on HDTV.

Isn't that what you have done your entire life???
Sat on the couch and rooted for the Pats.

You have never financially supported the Patriots.
Fans like you almost cost us the Pats to St Louis.

I kept my season tickets after the Ron Earhardt 2-14 season.
I kept my season tickets after the Rod Rust 1-15 season.
I kept my season tickets after the **** McPhearson 1-15 season.
I planned on keeping my tickets and driving weekly to Hartford (2 1/2 hrs each way).

I kept my season tickets after Brady tore his ACL.
I just decided to list my individual game tickets for sale
that season in a Patriots run ticket exchange. I also
said in the above post you refer to that I am no longer
a single guy with a pocket full of cash.

The tickets did not sell & I ended up going to 6 of the 8 games
in 2008.

What about you?

Oh yeah... you go to 1 game a year ... usually early when it is warm.
You are like the Sox fans who show up to one game a year and leaves
after singing sweet caroline....

Maryland..... You belong in Mary-Land

Feel free to respond if you want.... I have said all I need to say....
I do not need to reply to this thread again....
You can have the last word....

Sure, and a portion of the proceeds go to fund breast cancer research.

I'm proud of the job Matt Cassel and the team did in going 11-5 in 2008. That was a hell of a season. They showed moxy.

Most of the fans did too.
