Seymour, Maroney, Moss = 4 Head Coaches Fired This Season

That was not the point at all.

However, none of those players were "saviors" either to their coaches.

Meanwhile, the act of trading away at least 2 of those 3 was seen as a big step back for the head coach who is about to win coach of the year.

Advantage Belichick.

P.S. Tonight, it looks like Fisher will survive - - so the count is 3 of those HC's fired.

I don't think that's entirely accurate, either. The Seymour trade accomplished exactly what the Raiders wanted it to accomplish, and the team has become competitive since then. Cable's firing had absolutely nothing to do with the team's performance, period.

That said, it's still 4 coaches if you count Childress, since he's the one who actually made the Moss trade.

Even if you take out Seymour (and I think that is a valild point), the two remaining players, Maroney and Moss, are still averaging more than one full head coach between them. That may be a record that may never be broken.

True, no disputing that the Pats sold very high on both players, and both teams were wrecked by mismanagement.
