Ex Patriot lol

Is it just me or are there a surprising number of Patriots(and former Patriots) who get arrested with regard to people's deaths?

He’s an Ex Patriot yet nobody knows him for anything but being in a Colts uniform while getting F-5’ed by Gronkowski.

He should be an ex-living human

didn't Gronk take out the trash that day?

he was in indy longer than new england... lede should read "former colts db..."

just a sad / bad story to be even remotely associated with
The lede doesn't really say that. The tweet just says former NFL player, as does the article it references. And the picture is of him in a Bills jersey. Pretty sure OP only put that in the title to make it relevant to this forum. The only other place that is mentioning it and using "ex Patriot" is MassLive. Which again is probably trying to connect it to the audience.

Brown is the quintessential Belichick player...UDFA db whom Bill thinks excels at special teams...whenever he played actual defensive snaps he absolutely sucks..add Brown to list of sociopaths who've played for Krafty Bob...Christian Peter, Aaron Hernandez, Antonio Brown, Chris Sullivan, Dave Meggett, Willie McGinest, Josh Gordon, Alfonzo Dennard, Albert Haynesworth...

I used the title to make the story relevant to the Patriots. If this was an Indianapolis website I would have used "Former-Colt" in the title to make it more relevant. I guess I could change the title to "Former-Colt" but that doesn't negate the fact he played for the Patriots as well.

Considering that there has already been a thread on Sergio Brown and the disappearance of his mother & acknowledgement of her death under suspicious circumstances, most would know, wouldn't you think?

i get it, it makes it more sensational.

1) How is Josh Gordon a sociopath?
2) Christian Peter never played a down here. Never even got a uniform.

It's not a case of making it more sensational. just more relevant to a Patriots website.

Eh... You say po-tay-toe, I say cli-ck-bait
Well, I can't help how you feel about the title. I tried explaining why it's the way it is. If you still want to believe that it's a "click-bait" title, that's up to you. That's not the way it was meant and I would hope most people would see the relevance in using "Former Patriot" in the title on a Patriots website. It just kind of makes sense to me.
