Semi OT: What's with the lopsided betting trends this week?

Yeah I know what "reverse line movement" is. It's something people always talk about after-the-fact with 20/20 hindsight which "proves" their outlandish conspiracy theories are true.

Tell ya what... come to us on Saturday and tell us which games are the ones with "reverse line movement" and we'll see how those games do.

I don't follow it and percentages of money on a side don't factor into my decisions.

But again you are wrong. People do in fact follow the RLM during the week. I want to stop discussing this but you continue to put out false information.

Here is a thread that already did the work for you.

Reverse Line Movement games to be cautious of - Sports Handicapping, Betting & Picks - SBR Forum

and another one.

http://forum.sbrforum.com/nfl-handicapping/652031-rlm-p13.html

According to the last one RLM in the NFL this year is 14-7.

Just an FYI I have never worked at a casino, but I only participate in two internet forums with any regularity. One is here and the other is the site I just linked you to, a gambling site. So don't tell me that RLM is something that people only discuss after the fact. Guys discuss it all week.

And just for good measure an article about Vegas.

It's still early and things could change between now and 1pm tomorrow. As requested there is one play that meets the +60% criteria with at least a 1 point change:

Washington 70% (20,000 bets) the action opened at +1 and is now at +2.5

The play would be Detroit -2.5

----------------------------------------------

Carolina and St Louis is close. 80% of the action is on the Rams and the line has shifted a half of point in the Rams favor (-3 to -2.5).

-----------------------------------------------

In college this week RLM is 8-3-1 with two games left tonight.

Today's RLM tally:

San Fran 76,000 bets 67% on Denver line moves from San Francisco -1 to -2. Win

Detroit 98,000 bets 64% on Washington line moves from Detroit -1 to -2.5. Win

San Diego 96,700 bets 67% on Tennessee line moves from SD -3.5 to -6. Win

Tonights game.

New Orleans 102,000 bets 70% on Pittsburgh line moves from New Orleans +1 to -2. TBD.

So 3-0 with one game remaining today. Do you still think it is a myth?
