What a waste of money. They spent years building that thing and it just got completed within the last year or two....and now they're selling it? Going to be very difficult to get 40 million for that.

Interesting if true. Politics would be the last thing I would want to get into if I were Brady. Don't make any political statements and just live as a living legend forever in New England.

At one point, he said he was interested, but more recently, I believe he's said that he's recovered from the politics bug.

Regardless of the scale, devoting years to designing and building your custom-tailored dream home then moving almost immediately is unusual, to say the least. Usually you only see that with a sudden change in other life circumstances.

Seems odd. But Eh, one thing that is under reported about Gisele and Brady, is that they're big house flippers. Especially Giselle. Soon as this house showed up in architectural digest. It was only a matter of time before it was on the market.

I remember seeing this picture of Brady, Checking out the building of this house.

Then hearing nothing of it again. Then like a year later I seen it for sale. Cannot find where I seen it for sale. But found a site with finished pictures of it..

It is also a pretty crazy house.

I don't know if this is the same town..but it's like that area..then yes...they will get lots for it...

It's not the same town -- pricier -- right on the border of Brentwood and Pacific Palisades, probably Brentwood technically. (Arnold is the one person who comes to mind living in the immediate area -- further down Sunset in either direction are dozens of celebs)

$40mm is a lot of money, but it's nothing crazy here

40M isn't an absurd number for that area of LA....i lived in a condo in brentwood for 10 years...could never afford the house because a 'beater' in that area starts at 3m+....and as others mentioned, high end housing market in the LA hills (brentwood,paliaseds,etc) are booming. lots of money.

The profit that they stand to make on it probably was a factor in the decision. I expect that they'll sell for a lot more than $40M.

On Brady's part, this can only be good news. Spending the offseason closer to Foxboro hopefully means more time with his young receivers. I firmly believe that it shouldn't matter, since all of his receivers should be spending their offseasons wherever he is anyway, but either way... this helps.
