A "proven receiver" is an older receiver, inevitably. We are maybe half way through a rebuild. I still think it's foolish to take on a veteran receiver who will be done for by the time we are actually competitive for a championship. We should build our receiving corps via the draft.

Look how well Diggs has worked out. We are a lot farther along than 1/2 way. Still have another draft. $60m in cap space. Trades. 11- 3 record. Franchise QB. Solid coach. A vet WR acquisition is perfect right now

If they have another great off-season they are now the favorite in the AFC.

Absolutely agree. Everything you posted is spot on correct. Watch how potent the pass rush will be next season.

The Steelers - Pickens divorce worked out well for Dallas. Every situation is unique.

He’s definitely trying hard to scare teams away from giving him a chance next season. He will be lucky to get a prove it deal.

Check out Rob Moore's numbers with the Cardinals. Neat. He's a loser putting up stats on a loser.

And we didn't win a Super Bowl with "loser" Randy Moss but it was still a very good signing.

Randy Moss never played on a losing team in New England a)
and b) Good job unironically comparing Randy Moss to George Pickens. Good job.

Very pointless trade for Dallas and it was about 5-6 years too late. The question is, will they re-sign him with so many needs on the roster?

And just when Jerry makes the right move trading Parsons, he takes 2 steps back throwing away a 1st round pick for Quinnen Williams.

Puka also has a decision to make, get on the straight and narrow or lose out on generational wealth. His choice.

He can cross off any teams with Jewish owners paying him...that much is certain.

Explain please...

That has more to do with the QB than anything else imo.
Didnt he also famously give up on plays this year? He’s lightening in a bottle when he wants to be…other times not. AB 2.0, high risk/ high reward

Explain please...
Puka has made a series of bad public statements.
He was on some livestream SnapFace practicing a TD celebration where he spun an imaginary dreidel then hunched over rubbing his hands together. It’s possible the host was Jewish himself - didn’t follow that closely. But perceived as mocking Jewish tropes. He has been extremely critical of refs. He may have been streaming himself from the locker room. All in a week.
So if he wants elite pay he needs to be more of a role model off the field.

Nothing like spousal assault or vehicle crimes. Bad judgment.

Explain please...
Hanging out with knuckleheads who got him to make an anti-Semitic gesture on a livestream. Then saying he would do an anti-Semitic TD celebration.

The difference is that Diggs had been productive over the last two years before his ACL. Ayiuk hasn’t even found his way into the field, and there was talk of him already being in decline by the end of 2023. Both players carried risk, but Ayiuk seems to carry much more risk right now than Diggs ever did.

Unless AJ Brown can be had for a second, I’m happy with what we have, and just drafting a guy every year to try to build upon what could be a strength. For all we know Williams emerges as a star next year.
