Seems Arians doesn’t think much of our secondary

All the while Tampas vaunted defensive line went up against our fractured offensive line and rookie qb... time to head back to the pewter report deus... you can ck gobble arians there all day long and get applauded for it
Why is the pats oline fractured? Its pretty much the same oline Brady had when he was at NE.

really?

wheres Thuney? Oh yeah, in missouri

who was the starting RT? Justin Herron? or was it Yasir Durant? does it matter?

Was Onwenu benched during the dame? yes yes he was...

wynn look like he's playing healthy?

half the coaching pair that took over for scar missing this year?

to me, that says fractured... and it wasn't the same OLine Brady had, or even the line Cam had last year

That must be why he won in Indianapolis and Arizona, and currently has about the same winning percentage as Landry and Walsh.
Yep. Lots of ways to be successful as a head coach. Some lead charismatically and loudly (Lombardi). Some are brilliant innovators as well as leaders with offenses named after them and defensive game plans in Canton (Walsh, Belichick). Some just walk the sidelines and let their Coordinators coordinate and their players play (Landry and, maybe in the end, Arians).

A lot of this is personal style, but, ultimately, as Parcells put it, your record says who you are. Lombardi, Walsh, Belichick and Landry have the Conference and League Championships that speak for themselves. Arians is not in their league, but he tells the truth as he sees it and seems to get the best out of what he has on the field and he still has time.

Andrews, Wynn , Mason, All those guys were there in 2019. Onewenu is the highest graded player on the patriots. No Brady didnt have those guys at tackle he had newhouse? Remember him? Where is he at? Protection schemes are as much about the QB as the line. You take a line and put a rookie QB behind it, its going to get worse. Pre snap protection, hot routes, knowing where the blitz is coming from, moving guys to protection, all of that is done by the QB.

was Onwenu benched during the game? Wheres your starting right tackle? wheres the best player on the line from Bradys last year here?

You take the loss of Thuney, the loss of Scar then you have 2/5th of the starters out of the game and you will have problems, especially against a defensive front like the bucks have... yeeesh, i can't even believe I have to point this out at all... its football 101

I think Arians is just stating the obvious. Yes, Brady led a classic "Brady Drive" to get the winning score (and probably would have led another one if the FG had been good), but Brady, despite the yards he put up, missed a lot of throws and let the ball sail several times. His comment on the Secondary is as much a comment on TB12's play as it is on anything else.

If one lineman getting switched out makes your line fall apart then there is more than the line causing an issue. No football 101 is all the things I told you about protection. A young rookie is not going to have the same success behind any line as other QB's would because they are just not used to how the NFL works yet. You act like the pats have never had injuries along the oline before, and you act like the entire line was changed to different players. It wasnt. This is not the first time we had a tackle go down and replaced by a guy who is not even in the NFL anymore in newhouse, remember that? Protection is not just the oline, its the QB adapting to any issues on the line and doing other things to compensate. Thats football 101. Mason, Andrews, Wynn, didnt all of the sudden forget how to block when a coach left. Again, some of the issues are on the QB. i didnt say all, but the oline has just not been great the last 20 years and all of the sudden it fell apart. We have had oline issues in the past, just never like this and its not all on the oline.

its not one guy

its not the same line brady had

why is this a difficult concept to understand?

So Tom Brady (granted, a gronkless Tom Brady) hung 19 points on this secondary, and it's not a good one. I guess Kellerman had to be right eventually, if that's what Arians is saying.

Says the Dolphins secondary (Bucs next opponent) is “a lot better than the one we just played”.

A “lot” better?

This is Arians taking a dig at Belichick and the Pats because he is butthurt that Bill said the current Tampa offense is the Pats offense. He wants it to be his offense. In reality, no teams copy that bloated douche’s offense, unless they are looking to get their quarterbacks injured.

Totally….Indy tanked after Pagano returned from medical leave and Arians had to step aside….no, wait, they were just as successful the next two seasons under Pagano and Luck was even better with Pep Hamilton running the office instead of Arians.

But you’re totally right….There is no doubt that “No risk it, no biscuit” will be talked about in the same breath as the West Coast offense in the future.

Hahaha. Yea, no.
He's not worried about the Pats, he's onto Miami.
If anything he's paying respect to Belichick's coaching tree by saying Flores is a good coach.
BA is enough of a clown without having to go fishing for hidden meanings in everything he says.

Author did a brilliant job of inserting the last 4 words in the title to reel in enraged Pats fans. You got hooked like a 600# grouper.

Another thing I'll say about him: I didn't hate the admittedly few broadcasts I heard from him during the one season he was between HC gigs; so whenever he decides to step away from it eventually, he might have another job waiting for him...

Rule number 1 of the forum is that across the entire league only Belichick is a good coach. If he loses a game it’s because the players failed him, he is blameless.

Hahaha. Yea, no. This is about as believable as Meyer’s and Gruden’s excuses. Arians wants to he considered an elite NFL coach but he isn’t, even after his SB win.

Bill has said it himself: players win games, coaches lose them.

Some perspective is needed on this forum. If it weren't for Belichick, the team would have exactly zero super bowls. We would continue to be a laughing stock along with other non-super bowl teams like the chargers, browns, lion, jaguars, etc. Belichick has made mistakes for sure, especially as GM. But his overall body of work speaks for itself.
