Those two are buddies.
The "interview" was over golf or a beer.
Belichick is close friends with Schiano and if I remember correctly he made a public statement on his character when the whole Tennessee thing happened.
But just to be clear, you expectation is that everyone who meets someone who has nothing to do with an incident, which has been proven, should have that brought up to them and deal with it by everyone they meet for the rest of their life?
It’s been done. But by all means let’s crucify the guy for someone else’s actions that he knew nothing about. He worked in that locker room, asking him if he knew anything is due diligence, unless you are omniscient, as you clearly are.
I don’t think assistant coaches are in the reporting chain of command from hc to president. The Penn Star President Graham Spanier went to jail for failure to report the abuses. So the school president knew but the assistant coaches were oblivious?
Schiano may have never known a thing about it, but asking him is the right thing to do.

Why are you being a dlck?
The guy has been asked about these issues. He knew nothing. The claim he may have had been debunked. You are tilting at windmills apparently in an attempt to prove to everyone you are against child molestation, just like the rest of us.
Your ignorance is the situation doesn’t make you more against child abuse. It just makes you sound stupid.
Let me reiterate. BB and Schiano are very good friends.
I am supremely confident BB and Schiano have already discussed this issue on a personal level.
In this instance, why do you think a formal, more comprehensive interview process will reveal more information?

And I am saying it’s already been done. When it comes to being “ a **** ” Andy, you are THE GOAT. I’m simply saying that any coach who worked in that locker room at that time needs to be asked about any knowledge they may have had about it. If that offends you tough sh.t
And you would be wrong. And I think assistant coaches talk to each other constantly, so if one saw a child being raped in the shower you would like to believe they made every one of them aware of it.
If they have already covered it then that’s fine, if not it needs to be addressed, that’s all.
I’m really not sure why people are so offended by asking the questions.
You said interview in post #137. My assumption was that was what you are expectingI never said anything about a formal interview process, I said the question needs to be asked.
I would report it through the proper channels. So if you caught a guy you work with raping a child in the shower you wouldn’t tell your Co workers?
So .. isn’t it one of Belichick’s core Beliefs that COMPETITION brings out the best in someone? Why then should this belief be limited to players?
He has now moved the goalposts from this:You said interview in post #137. My assumption was that was what you are expecting
To hey, let’s ask him a question we already know the answer to, but is still bloviating apparently because he feels it’s important to show people he thinks child molesting is bad.I agree, If Schiano saw that and didn’t report it then you can’t hire him. The Patriots definitely have to investigate that, and if they don’t then it’s unforgivable.
