glad someone saw it even if it was this guy
I agree with you about spelling, etc., but Schlereth isn't too bright himself. Good help is hard to find even for ESPN (especially for ESPN?).Who's Schelerth? Let's try to look like intelligent fans here people.
Good to see a team was finally smart enough to beat decent cover guys on Welker. It's obvious Welker can beat slow linebackers and terrible nickle guys. this is what happens when you put a good DB on him.

The 13 flags weren't enough? They called the holds on the last drive and you guys got your win.
They played him smart and they played him phyiscal. It's a complete mystery to me why teams haven't been doing this to the Pats all year long. They don't have tight ends that want to block and if you take away 2 receivers you can keep the Pats pretty well in check. Assign your best cover guy to Welker, assign your most physical player to Moss and overload a pass rush on the weak side and you can hold the Pats under 28.
The thing is, there is only 1 team on the Pats remaining schedule with the personel to do so. Philly with Shepard, Dawkins and a good mix of weak side and delayed blitzes got to Brady while Baltimore has Rolle and McAllister as very good cover guys while Ed Reed is in the backfield laying the wood.
Pittsburgh must have Polumalu and Santonio Holmes back to have a prayer. Hopefully Parker can do his best Willis McGahee impression because #23 was awesome last night. James Harrison, Clark Haggans and James Farrior should be able to creat a decent pass rush with Ike Taylor and Troy Polumalu handling Moss and Welker.
Dante Stallworth and Jabar Gaffney better be ready to step up because their going to have to down the stretch.
He just doesn't know the difference between literally and figuratively.I'm not sure he means "literally"....
Literally undressed on every play? No wonder my wife had a keen interest in last night's game (and I need better glasses apparently, although some things are better left unseen).
(intensifier before a figurative expression) without exaggeration; "our eyes were literally pinned to TV during the Gulf War"
