Injuries and our switch to zone blocking took their toll.

Hopefully the run scheme there is better for him.

Maroney was a good team player ... I wish him well.

Well, the endless discussions regarding his merits are likely to die down just a little now.

It's obvious now the Patriots were a) happy with BJGE's performance
b) never going to resign him after this year
and
c) were tired of the LoMo Show.

I won't say good riddance but I'm hardly upset by the news.

The compensation per Schefter is the Pats get Denver's 4th round pick in 2011, and the Broncos get the Pats 6th rounder in 2011.

So this is like trading a 6th+5th for a 4th right?

We can get a solid player in the 4th who has a chance to actually be on the active roster gameday. So long and good luck Maroney, didn't dislike you, but you never gave too much to be excited about.

Maroney = Enigma.

Wish the team got more production from him.

Wish that there wasn't so much age in the backfield. Seem a little vulnerable to injury here...
