I just heard on 98.5 that former Dolphins o-line coach has filed a defamation suit against Ted Wells for what Wells said about him in the Martin Report. More black eyes for the Goodell and the league.

Hopefully, Turner will get that report disovery and transcripts unsealed and there is evidence of Wells manufacturing evidence. Then the pressure will be put on Goodell to unseal the Deflategate transcripts and discovery.

Good. Sounds like Incognito might be headed that direction as well, and of course there are at least four people with the Patriots that would appear to have some chance of eventually doing the same. I imagine defending against six defamation lawsuits isn't an ideal scenario for Wells.

Typically I think civil cases are 3 years.

I think McNally or Jastremski will file a defamation suit at some point in the near future. They have a much lower standard to file suit because neither were famous prior to Deflategate and the investigation.

Good on him. Hopefully JJ and McNally are next at some point. Whether they win or not it's good to see Wells further under fire. What goes around comes around. We can only hope the same will happen to Goodell.

I can't wait for Turner's lawyers to subpoena the transcripts of interviews and all of the discovery during the Wells investigation and Wells claim attorney-client privilege. It will remove all doubt of Wells being an independent investigator.

That's correct . . . in Massachusetts.

Most states, though, have a one-year limit. So sad for Wells and Goodell.

Its this crap that I am 100% certain the other owners do not want.

Court cases lead to nothing but bad publicity.
