SB 59 Chiefs vs Eagles

This Eagles team is better than their 2022 team. The talk leading up to that Super Bowl for two weeks was how the Eagles didn't play any good teams and their defensive stats were empty. On the other side this Chiefs team is worse than their 2022 team.

If you live and die by the X Factor than its Mahomes. But everything else is really on the Eagles side roster wise, and their defense in particular is much better with a far better DC with Vic. In terms of offensive skill position players the Eagles have the better pass catchers and the better run game by FAR.

It also helps that the Eagles have a lot of star power who were on the team for that SB loss and so have experience of going to and playing in the game. We all know how that matters and the Pats often feasted on teams who were "happy to be there" as the cliche goes.

Eagles should win. Will they? I can only hope.
Your analysis is spot on. Eagles are by far the more talented team BUT Mahomes Reid and Spags bring a lot of intangibles. Eagles almost lost at home to the Rams. It will be a close game but in the clutch Mahomes>>>Hurts

That Rams game was peak chaos due to the snow, you can throw the stats of that game out. And regardless, the Rams with Stafford and McVay are no slouches.

Eagles had a real path to the Super Bowl this year. The Packers, Rams, Commanders were all real teams with real QBs. Back in 2022 they played the Giants with Danny Dimes (lmfao) and the 49ers who literally had no healthy QB. Remember how Jimmy was out and Purdy ****ed up his arm early in the game so they quite literally couldn't run pass plays. It was insanely stupid.

Don’t let the Chiefs field crew hose down the field and turn it into a slip and slide like they did a few years ago. That was criminal behavior by the NFL, clearly rigging a game.

I remember that. Thankfully it's inside this time.

Last time was in Arizona, in the desert… ridiculous

That field is on a sliding tray that they kept outdoors though. The Super Dome is just a plain old indoor field.

Chiefs win. Will be decent then they’ll break away and Eagles won’t rise to the occasion

The amount of trolling this poster is allowed to do is unbelievable.

You want the mods to only allow him to post reactions ala Showtime?

I watched parts of both games today, wanted the exact opposite of what we got.

I'm not even going to watch that fkn mess.
Same. But it was predictable. Washington being too young right now to get past a proven team and the Chiefs and Bills having the same playoff game they always do.

Let’s be real, we were sort of hoping against the most likely outcome

It'll be the Chefs. Follow the commercials money.

Then again, I thought that when the 2013 Broncos sauntered in against the Squawks only to then get their faces blown off...I'll tune in if I see this game going that way. Barring that, I am considering living in the past and watching replays of the 2014 or 2016 SB run while I drown in my tears and bourbon.

What's ironic Is Reid will once again find himself on the sidelines finding a way to help the Eagles lose a superbowl . Man Philly must really hate that guy. It's like all he's gotta do is be there.

Chiefs win and 3peat. The defense is elite, the coaching on both sides is elite and the play calling during critical moments is elite. The team is also very experienced. It's very impressive what they have done in KC but who are the beating to do it? They haven't had to face nowhere near the competition the Pats did back then. No Greatest Show on Turf, Legion of Boom, Manning Colts/Broncos, Shannahan Broncos, Steelers, Ray Lewis & Ed Reed Ravens, Drew Brees Saints. The "Mahomes" Chiefs faced one "legend" twice and lost BOTH times. They haven't even played a recent winning Super Bowl team (other than the Pats) in an AFC Championship game or in the Super Bowl. Easy peasy for them...
