I see a whole lot more there in Wildo7's post about Genesis. It's an allegory for the 2007 Tom Brady.

Before this year, we saw Brady at work but couldn't see all of his greatness. Now, having seen the 2007 Brady, we have a better eye for what he can do. When we look back at previous years, we are now aware of how much Brady had to do with making them look as good as they did.
