You have to go after the ball in that situation. It was up for grabs.

People really need to go watch the broadcast camera replay. Harmon would have had to defy the laws of motion to make a play. When he arrived Kearse had just hit the ground right in front of him, so his momentum and angle didn't allow him to stop on a dime. It was either step on Kearse's face or jump over him

With the rules being as they are i agree. Nobody thought Kearse was catching that.

It appears that there are a couple of posters on this forum who are dissatisfied with his play and would have preferred that the money would have been better spent on a free agent safety. Who might they prefer instead? At an average of 4.5 million/year.
