He's basically a starter, he covers the deep field and lets DMC play physical near the line. We played 3 safeties a decent amount last season and we're facing a much tougher QB test this season. We also might be losing Butler, we need all the cover guys we can get. Harmon is legit.

Probably could have. I always love when a player like him returns. Played 55 and 48% of snaps last two seasons, absolutely could have been an 80+% guy on another team.

I think it says he believes in everything NE does.

But after Gilmore news i had idea if Harmon signs with another team, wouldnt pats try Revis at free safety for small amountof money? Just a thought. I know he sucks at CB but moving him to FS spot for cheap money? Manx?

Listening to the beat writers Harmon seems to _really_ like it in Foxboro and knows that he is in a good situation next to DMac.

Wouldn't be surprised if he stayed on a discount compared to other opportunities.

He wouldn't come for cheap money though. He's getting paid 6m for doing nothing which he loses if he signs elsewhere so any deal would have to be north of 6m.
