Interesting interview. Means nothing. I remember the Florida coach, was it Urban Meyer, telling us how much we were going to love Chad Jackson. Real mature. Terrific leader. Blah blah blah blah.

Might as well interview their mothers on draft day!

Well thank God he didn't compare McCourty to Wilhite!

Yesterday it was Ty Law,Today its Revis....get ready for Deion Sanders comparison on Saturday.

Lets see the kid play with pads on here first before we listen to coaches praise.

Remember how Weatherspoons coach was praising his guy

I think they are not comparable really, what he says is valid but Revis has much more talent

Of course they're not comparable. McCourty's best season saw him snag one INT while Revis is nowhere near the special teams threat that McCourty is. One is a first round rookie draft pick while the other is the best CB in the league. The comparisons are really quite ridiculous. If anything, McCourty should be compared to Leigh Bodden right now.

I'd gladly take another Bodden!

This goes back a ways, but the Patriots drafted Bob Cryder, a OL from Alabama in the late 1970's. When some someone asked Bear Bryant to comment about him, Bryant said that he really couldn't figure out why the Patriots had taken him in the first round. So once in a while, you may get a candid comment from former coach. Maybe once every 30 years or so.

I compare my wife to Gisele, it does not make it true................

What else is he supposed to do? Compare him to Winfield?

I have a ****zu and a Rottweiler. They both bark really loud and give an impression that they will bite you. At the end of the the day one is still a ****zu and the other is a Rott. Which one would you rather face alone in my back yard?
