Duke Dawson is eligible to come off IR tomorrow so it wouldn't be surprising to see him take Rowe's spot. It will be interesting to see if he works out at CB or at Safety (which is where I think he'll be best)

He's required to miss 8 games. There are 8 games left in the regular season. Ergo, the earliest he can come back would be for the Wildcard Round of the post-season.

Dawson would seem to be the guy to get his spot, even if someone else gets it as a stopgap until Dawson's ready.

Dawson can be activated at any time now. He could continue to practice with the team on the roster exemption for for this week and through next week. However, he MUST be activated by 11/13 (the Tuesday after the Titans game), or revert to IR.

One advantage to delaying his activation is that the Pats could promote Farrow from the PS for a game or two without cutting anyone, if Sony needs more time with his knee. The Pats are in their BYE week the week after the Titans game, so that would give Sony four consecutive weeks to heal before coming back for wk-12 @NYJ.

Then, Burkhead would be eligible to return for wk-13. He's eligible to begin his own 21-day practice exemption in wk-10 (Titans week).
