Not a good prediction since the Pats currently don't have a sixth rounder. Also, he predicts that Bart Scott will be released after the draft when Ryan said that they are keeping Scott just today (granted he addresses this in saying what Ryan says today and what he does after the draft could be two very different things).

My Guess is that Evan Silva has no idea who the Pats are considering, or if they are considering trading for someone.


The money Forte wants is outside the formula of what the Pats want to pay for a position where the players frequently have a very short shelf life in the NFL.

I've been sayin Forte since last season. This guy would be a MONSTER for us. If it could be done and not effect other concerns Pats need to address then GO FOR IT!

The trade would only happen after the Pats agree to a contract with Forte. If It wasn't insane I would do it in a second. If they had a real rb like Forte in the SB they would have won easily.

Now I think Ridley looks like he could be a good back. But Forte is proven.
