Re: Roger Goodell Press Conf

people are making a big thing about what goodell said today...the last thing the commish of the league wants is for a super bowl champion to be cast in a negative light. the super bowl is obviously the league's cash cow and if it were to be dipped into controversy the implications could be devastating. so goodell is trying to make this all go away. here's a clue rog: you're just gonna make it all worse when the TRUTH comes out.

No you are grasping at straws. You NEED everything your warped mind has concocted to be true. You can't admit that this was nothing. You and every other moron who decided they would do no research on the topic but just listen to what the uniformed media fed you. Let this be a lesson to you, fully undertsand a topic and then form your OWN unbiased opinion. Not one built out of jealousy, hate or friggin peer pressure.

Re: Roger Goodell Press Conf

what about placing microphones on defensive linemen to get the opposing offensive signals? what about jamming the opposing offensive coordinator's radio transmissions? is that acceptable to the public too?

Got proof

GFY

Re: Roger Goodell Press Conf

Anybody else notice that neither SI or PFT has any mention of this? Idiots.

What about cheating the salary cap to win two Super Bowls, what about illegally purchasing audible calls? Do you see how quickly your case falls apart? You said you wanted the truth to come out, and now it did, and you just don't like what the truth was. It's not the truth you wanted.

Go away.

Are you wearing your tinfoil hat as you type?

Apparently, since Bill Walsh did it back in the '80s and no one seems to care.

Re: Roger Goodell Press Conf

Has any of that been substantiated? Lots of rumors about what teams do. Colts piping in sound, turning up the heat, etc. Come back when there's some hard evidence.

Didn't we have communication problems in Dungy's Dome of Hell this year?

What about it? Please provide any links stating that the Patriots were doing this.

And as I said above, ESPN is already spinning it against the Pats, as much as they possibly can.

Re: Roger Goodell Press Conf

ok, when matt walsh tells what he knows, we'll see if it gets substantiated enough for ya, ok chief?

Hey can you get Matt walsh's autograph.
I figure you must know him pretty well, since he seems to have told you ALL the deep dirty secrets of the Patriots organization.
Strike four. Your a complete idiot.

Don't forget the fact that every time the Pats won a game, there was a space shuttle flying overhead.....

Seriously, go play in your own sandbox. You're coming across as desperate, pathetic and juvenile.

:bricks:

I'm very interested in any testimony that anyone gives. You're right, we'll see. Clearly you have no inside information, just like the rest of us.

Resting your hopes on Golf Course Boy. Good luck with that. You'd better hope he has some tapes

Re: Roger Goodell Press Conf

Honestly, I wish the mods would ban all Spygate trolls.

Of course they are. Goodell basically just vindicated the Pats and the media is going to spin it to sound like we did something on par with weaponizing small pox for Al Queda.

I didn't read it that way. Mosley also said that he didn't expect the Commissioner to say any different without hard evidence, which I'd also expect. He's not going to come out and say, "Hey, everyone's doing it!"

Re: Roger Goodell Press Conf

I wouldn't get your hopes up. There is some blog on ESPN, "hashmarks"?, never heard of it, but caught the link on the main page. Look at the spin already. They don't try and vindicate the Pats at all, in fact, the last entry says that "taping wasn't widespread" and that it contradicts what Patriot defenders have said all along.

In fairness to Goodell, what else was he supposed to say? Even if cheating is widespread, which we all suspect it is, and even if he knows about it, why say so if there's no evidence? It only hurts the NFL to say "yeah, everyone was doing it." Even if true, I can't think of any possible reason they would cop to it if they didn't have to.

LOL, it's brutal. I had the misfortune of switching the station to Mike & Mike this morning. One idiot Mike was wondering how making Spygate an issue in Congress is any different than Steroids. And when other idiot Mike explained that steroids affects more than just MLB players, he said "maybe this does, too and we just don't know it yet." I mean, holy crap, why are people so damn desperate to hate the Pats?

Any tapes in his possesion would be illegal. They would be the property of the Pats.

No, I'm with you, Goodell said what he had to there, no doubts - it's just that ESPN is picking that one line out of the whole thing to try and smear the Pats some more.
