I think we heard from Kraft today that it already has.Bold of you to assume this hasn't already happened.

Did we ever actually get a clear title on what Highsmith's job even is?3) highsmith becomes wolf’s boss
Who's numbers and what is their process? If Kraft wants Vrabel to be HC and Vrabel does as well..then all that really matters is the Rooney rule. It will be a farce per usual.I doubt it. This process has to be by done by the numbers.
Senior Personnel Executive VP.Did we ever actually get a clear title on what Highsmith's job even is?
That's some gobbledygook. I can't find his official title anywhere. Very strange.Senior Personnel Executive VP.
I don't think titles mean much. We saw Groh was Bill's guy. Then he got displaced by Wolf. I assume Wolf got displaced by Highsmith. Titles only mean things if the organization says they do.Did we ever actually get a clear title on what Highsmith's job even is?
That's his 'official' title, mostly because they didn't have a place to slot him, really. That's some gobbledygook. I can't find his official title anywhere. Very strange.
Sure, but it won't be tomorrow. And they'll take their time with "the candidate." For looks.Who's numbers and what is their process? If Kraft wants Vrabel to be HC and Vrabel does as well..then all that really matters is the Rooney rule. It will be a farce per usual.
Yes I agree with thatSure, but it won't be tomorrow. And they'll take their time with "the candidate." For looks.
I lump them all together. He was there for most of the offseason program this year. Try harder next time. One of the issues I see, is that since Highsmith wasn't here when BB was, is that you just like talking ****.
Then I can assume they had a chance to use their own system. See how that works?I am assuming that since the changes were not implemented until the end of February that all scouting work was done based on BBs scale.
He does know Borgonzi from the Chiefs, so I am choosing to believe that he is the guy. Then I am out on Vrabel. Seriously. Why can't you bring guys from Philly, or SF, or KC etc. You don't bring guys in that were part of dumpster fires in other orgs.
Wolf, Highsmith and Groh - BB was mean, he didn't take our input boo hoo
Wolf, Highsmith and Groh - Mayo and his staff couldn't coach up our outstanding draft picks.
Wolf, Highsmight and Groh - We will do better with a different head coach.
Anyone see the issue here? Anyone?
Will the team have people in place to make the right decisions when acquiring talent. Only thing that matters.I'm curious if the next dude will get an actual GM title or will it be more of the same? Does it really matter? Do they do this for some sort of hiring/pay loopholes or is it just "tradition"?
Absolutely this. Doesn't make a difference if there is nothing but sycophants, incompetence, cronies, or all of the above in every coaching position. I also wonder if people look at "Executive Vice President of Player Personnel" and don't want it due to title. I know technically it's a GM but could this be a factor? Does anyone know why they do not use GM for the title? Will the team have people in place to make the right decisions when acquiring talent. Only thing that matters.
Wolf staying on
I can't imagine Ben gets his pick of front office personnel. But Vrabel will undoubtedly have his people in there. If Wolf is one of those guys good for him. If he is not, he is either gone or relegated to other duties. At the end of the day, if Vrabel and/or Johnson are worth their salt and they are cool with Wolf and Highsmith then maybe, just maybe, we as fans should give the guys the benefit of the doubt this year and assume that perhaps these highly sought-after coaches know what the hell they are talking about.
