Great contribution to the board. You're more concerned with disliking me than you are with talking football, pathetic. And no, I never said I'd delete my count, forget about it man.

(Congrats, you hijacked this thread.)
Actually you did in the "Aqua4Ever put up or shut up" thread half way down the page.

Sign Ricky up. I don't see the harm in offering him the vet minimum. He could be a decent back next season.

I think Rickie Williams has changed and i'd take the low risk gamble on him. He's not a criminal and he still wants to play, its worth the risk.

I believe this is a wrong assessment. Ricky Williams has left the dope behind and has lived a lifestyle that actually will HELP his longevity in the NFL. He's in good shape. His work ethic is strong, as evidenced by his last year with the Dolphins and desire to return to the NFL. I'd love to see him as a change-of-pace guy with the Pats.

I'm sure 8 million dollars had something to do for his newfound love of the game.

He is still a flake and a head case. He has been one since he was in New Orleans. Even if he didn't fail his last test for pot, knowing the situation he was in shouldn't he have been extra careful to make sure no illegal substances would be in his system. Hundreds of players go through the NFL without having any problems passing drug tests, yet for Ricky Williams it is so difficult?

He has so many questions and so much baggage that he would just be another head ache we really don't need. I'd much rather just have a backfield of Maroney, Evans, Faulk, Morris, Hairston etc.

Rams head coach Scott Linehan was interested in trading a 4th round pick for Ricky. So I imagine the Dolphins aren't just going to let him walk.

He will do a good job wherever he lands, you just wait and see. And if he gets nailed for pot again, I'll eat my hat. He's beyond that.

He's a pot head who has losers like you rooting for him, welcher. Delete your account like you said you would.

I root for Williams so i guess im a loser too right?

moss and stallowrth are potheads too, and BB's son got caught with the stuff, do you think its something that bothers BB. Weed is one of the things that bothers me the least among some of the things athletes get in trouble for

This pot thing is a friggin joke...

The FDA doesn't get any money from herbs, so this is why they want ALL herbs illegal. This is 100% true. These scumbags are nothing but greedy fockers... yes I said it...

It is a plant that grows naturally.

That is illegal, but Vioxx, Celebrex, and other man made sh!t that killed many people are legal?

You really have to ponder this one people...

Pot isn't a problem. It makes people lazy, but, it doesn't kill people.

I don't even do it now. Never had one for a long time.

Ricky Williams would be a good pickup imo for the Pats, if he is let go.

The bottom line here is that Ricky dogged and abandoned his team without any real indications he was going to do so,Albeit it was the hated Dolphins - and it was not for a personal family issue or his health,It was for smoking weed for christs sake.

If he did that to the Patriots and wanted to come back ,I GUARANTEE most of you would have 2 words for him F--- Y--!!!!!!

Lets be honest here,no one who did that to this team would be accepted back by most fans or organization of it,If you think so you are kidding yourself,The dolphins would have to be idiots to pay this drug clown more money.

Should have spent a long time in rehab to prove something more.

If you want to see the Dolphins continue to destruct, then just let that idiot rejoin them if they are stupid enough to allow it to happen.

If he smokes weed here in the USA technically he IS a criminal,Last time I checked that was illegal and can get you locked up,Am I wrong?

And if Randy Moss quit on the Patriots like he did in Oakland I'm sure he would also get a big FU from the fans as well. I personally could care less that Moss quit on Oakland or that Ricky quit on Miami. I only care about if he's going to quit on the Patriots. As long as players don't quit on the Pats I would give them a clean slate coming to NE.

Also Ricky "abandoned" his team because he was going to be suspended for the season anyways. He figured he was better off retiring.

Correct, and that would make the majority of Americans criminals since over 50% of people have smoked marijuana.

I never have,I guess I am on the OTHER side of the fence

You cant get locked up for possesion on the first offense.

I think the difference between Randy and Ricky was with Randy who had somewhat of a bad past was not such a surprise when he did it again in Oakland,Where as Ricky showed absolutely no signs of any real trouble till he one day woke up and said,I quit football and sang the Todd Rundgren song a different way "I don't want to work,I want to get high all day"

Remember how many Colts fans were disguisted when Edgerrin was picked over Ricky and then sharply changed their tune when Ricky escaped into the wilderness and Edgerrin was continuously pounding out 1,000+ rushing seasons.

If you are driving a car and get pulled over for something and a doobie is sitting on your dash I GUARANTEE you get a free ride in a police car..I am not so sure about the laws otherwise as I have been drug free all my life.

Sure you'll be arrested but your not going to jail. I believe the person you quoted was talking about jail time.

Everyone is doing illegal things... they have so many drivel laws that make no sense, that pretty soon... if you look at someone the wrong way, you'll be a criminal.

Use your heads... don't be one step from cattle.

This has nothing to do with RW... but when your in Rome...
