This is from Peter King's latest on SI.com:
"I think the Dolphins are more likely to pass on Ricky Williams if he's reinstated by the league than put him back on their roster. I don't think they trust him, and I think they think they're just as likely to get a good backup runner"
If that's the case, should we make it three for three and pick up Ricky as our backup RB?
I have always liked him and he's been a good soldier the last time he was allowed to play. His suspension this time was essentially bogus. I think from a price/performance viewpoint he's a steal for our backup RB role. It's the same one he fufilled successfully in Miami with Ronnie Brown so he's not going to whine about his role.
I think it comes down to whether the Pats can stand the increased attention this move would bring....you know the

nonsense that the Boston and National media has been pushing.
I'd like to see them go for it.
