And they should up it. The fact we even know what the offer is means he is trying to use it to leverage the Patriots up. The Pats need to bend just a bit here and allow Revis to save face so both sides can "win". If not he is gone.

I think they are going to up it but i just hope it is enough.

If the Patriots were smart, they already baked these movements into their initial offer(s) and this is going according to schedule. This is how Revis' camp has always negotiated when in a position of significant leverage - it shouldn't be a surprise. And I doubt it was.

Unfortunately, there are several other teams very comfortable with this contract offer & Knucklehead Johnson would probably go higher to bring him back to the Jets.

Wonder why there is a three year limit? Wouldn't it make sense to go with the full guarantee, yet extend the contract 1 or 2 additional years?
