It's easy, and only takes a few moments.Revis played really well in 2013 – 50 tackles, 1 sack, 2 forced fumbles, 1 fumble recovery, 2 interceptions, 11 pass defenses, 3 run stuffs. He allowed just 400 yards in passing when targeted last year, and a completion 1 out of every 16.4 snaps in coverage. I have no concerns about his health or his ability to perform at his prior level.I was elated by the signing, but I think most of us remember him in his time with the Jets. The question is, can Revis be as effective now post-ACL as he was prior to 2012?
Virtually everyone fully recovers from those procedures these days. His injury/surgery was 2 years ago. I haven't even seen nor heard the question raised until your post.I was elated by the signing, but I think most of us remember him in his time with the Jets. He was good last season, but not quite as good as pre-ACL seasons.
He was in a rehabbing year and playing in a bad scheme. This year things should be much better for him.
That's why I expect Gronk to have a good but non spectacular season, usually torn ACL's take a full season to be 100%. Let's also see if RG3 get's back to his rookie season level.
Revis was targeted 63 times resulting in 34 catches.I heard that Revis was only targeted like 20 times last year. Considering he had 11 pass defenses and two INTs, that is an incredible stat.

Revis had a high QB rating against by his standards (81.4) so people thought he played worse than in year past but that rating is influenced a lot by interceptions and he only had 2 last season so it is flawed.Must have been a PFF stat then. I thought I heard it on PFW in Progress, but they do get stuff wrong.
Sure, just as Welker and most others are the year after. Virtually everyone is back to normal in year 2. There are 50 things I'm more worried about than that.Even Revis himself said he was playing through pain for most of 2013. He was good last season, but not quite as good as pre-ACL seasons.
Per PFF Talib vs Revis in 2013
Talib
487 Coverage Snaps
596 yds allowed
1.22 yds per coverage snap
Revis
556 Coverage Snaps
400 yds allowed
0.72 yds per coverage snap
Not concerned at all
If we are worried about Revis' ACL almost 2 seasons after his surgery, what chance to the rest of our ACL brigade have.
