Would like to think he does.

I'd be surprised if he didn't play.

Did he report this directly to kffl? Cause it's not on the papers web page.

I'd love to see a little verification.

I will only believe that if he starts practicing by wednesday.

But what a funny day today has been. We get one report that player a won't play sunday, but was in full pads for practice without a no contact jersey. Then player b is suppost to start on sunday but hasn't practiced in a month. Interesting.

Hope he has a good week of practice.

I'll only believe it if I see it scrolling on ESPN's bottom line.

I really won't mind at all seeing Bruschi resting for another week.

But the real question is would Bruschi let you sit for another week?

BB's injury psyops seems to be working exceedingly well lately.

Patriots | Kaczur appears healthy enough to play Week 1

Even if Kaczur is ready to go, why would he suddenly move ahead of O'Callaghan on the depth chart? Just because Kazcur graduated college a year earlier? By all accounts, O'Callaghan has had an outstanding preseason. O'C has a great frame; he's built to start in the NFL.

Grande Tedy Bruschi !!!

This is all I could find from Parente.

"Maroney declined interview requests Monday as reporters flocked to his locker. He took reps during practice with fellow running backs Corey Dillon, Kevin Faulk and Heath Evans. Belichick also avoided questions about linebacker Tedy Bruschi, who missed the entire preseason with a broken wrist, but expects to play this weekend."

"At linebacker, Tedy Bruschi remained on the active roster and was not placed on PUP, which means he could be ready to start in Week 1. The Patriots also kept Tully Banta-Cain, Rosevelt Colvin, Junior Seau, Eric Alexander, Mike Vrabel, rookie Pierre Woods and special teams’ aces Don Davis and Larry Izzo."

"With their final roster set, the Patriots will keep their eyes on the waiver-wire this weekend in case any interesting names surface at wide receiver or linebacker. Bruschi and Harrison expect to play against the Bills, which will solidify the defense, but it’s uncertain whether or not Branch will be on the field Sept. 10. He’s on the 53-man roster, so he’s still part of the team as the Patriots prepare for Week 1."

We already know Bruschi expects to play week one. Is that all this is?

Didn't practice Monday.

I hope that Tedy plays in Week 1, but I hope that he can play the rest of the season even more, so if he's not ready, I'd rather see him in Week 2 or 3 than to see him hit the IR or not play until Week 10 by further hurting himself by playing too early.

I'd be happy if the Patriots signed Danny Clark, and Charles Rogers while trading Branch for the Seahawks first and fourth round draft choices. That would make my day.

It would be nice if Parente was more familiar with the roster rules. Bruschi is not eligible for PUP because he practiced during training camp/preseason.
