Patriots Report Card: Secondary, Special Teams Thrive Vs. Titans

It wasn’t a banner day by any means, but the Patriots relied on complementary football to handle the Titans on Sunday. Phil Perry hands out a mixed bag of grades in his Week 12 Report Card.

I'd bump up Mac's grade to a B, bump down the RB grade to a C+ - they didn't do a lot until the game was out of hand

I'd agree with a good grade for special teams but I think they also benefited from the Titans penalties.

I'd go B+ for the secondary. I mean this wasn't Brady and the Bucs at full strength this was Tannehill with no weapons and they still allowed him to be 8 for 8 on the opening drive. Nice to see them with some clutch plays.

I'd say D+ for the defensive line. 270 yards rushing allowed will get us smoked by better offenses than this.

Agreed... Mac was a solid B vs a defense with a still-dangerous secondary... RBs, especially Harris, weren't really productive until the 4th quarter... It's also obvious by now that Rham is a better talent than the Omen and should be given more carries than him...

Also agree about the DL... Still feel that we need an addition/upgrade to Carl Davis...
