Remember when 300 passing yards was considered a good day?

And wasn't there a game at Sh!tsdirt during the 1976 season wherein Grogan play-actioned on 4th/1 and threw to Russ Francis for like a game-clinching 1st down or something? So powerful was the Pats run game that the Stealers completely sold out trying to stop it.
The '76 Pats were a championship team. Stingley's game-clinching bomb TD was on fourth down, you may be thinking of that.

It's disgusting what this game is turning into. Fantasy Football, Aaron Rodgers injury last year, and CTE have completely neutered the game. I get you don't want defender's going low or high into qb's or players trying to scramble each others brains but this terrible roughing the passer rule has got to go. If this keeps up the NFL might as well fold and Arena Football games get broadcast every Sunday instead.

Haven't turned off the TV though, have you?

Passing yards need to correlate with Wins. Otherwise it’s just garbage time.
