Sorry man. Pat is a good symbol, but an absolutely awful logo. you can love the Elvis or hate the Elvis but at least you can SEE the elvis at a greater distance than 10 yards or so. I went the first 15 years of my fan life not actually knowing what that was on the side of Patriots' helmets.Zolak said they may wear the red jersey with the silver helmet
>puking now
15 years? You never got curious enough to look for a way to actually know what your favorite team was wearing on their helmets? That is bizarre, my curiosity would get the better of me.Sorry man. Ugh. The blue with red numbers. Horrible. high school jerseys.oh the irony
Reminiscing on anniversary of day the Patriots introduced their new logo
On March 31, 1993, the Patriots were among the NFL's worst teams on the field and in merchandise sales. A new logo helped signal their turnaround.www.espn.com
You know, it's insulting to high schoolUgh. The blue with red numbers. Horrible. high school jerseys.
This was pre-Internet with nothing but grainy bunny ears TV and the occasional photo in the sports page. It would be ludicrous NOW, but back then, not so much. It was the early 2000s before my neighborhood got cable TV15 years? You never got curious enough to look for a way to actually know what your favorite team was wearing on their helmets? This helmet (with the stripes toned down a bit)
Red jersey (or blue jersey matching the helmet blue), white pants
Those shoulder epaulets are goofyIt will be a nice change, I’m tired of their current uniforms. I can only tolerate their away uniforms.
Because it sucks, right? The reds are cool. All white is horrible.
The all white uni was epic.
What do you call a person who claims to be a fan of a team, but ravenously agrees with and trumpets inaccurate, stupidity/ignorance/sore loser denigration and derision of said team, including a false 'laughingstock' narrative in contradiction to the fact they never had a losing decade and were better and won more games than a score of other NFL teams who were much worse over the three decades and embraces and loves an aesthetically abhorrent and insulting makeover perpetrated by someone who never lived in or cared about New England, and then perpetuated by someone who has nothing but resentment and disdain for the original ownership and complies with, empowers and encourages the intensification and escalation of dismissal and denial of his own team's success with false cheating allegations leading to three (so far) fake scandals including stolen top draft picks, believing stupid excuses and arguments for accepting the replacement logo & uniform which has been rated the sixth worst in the history of ALL sports, collegiate and professional, and ridiculing the team's established, iconic, recognized, loved, classy, unique, attractive, awesome logo & uniform which has been rated the best in the league and was unanimously chosen by a packed stadium of the team's fans over the hideous, lifeless new logo's virtually identical ancestor? The all white uni was epic.
So the Cowboys, Packers, 49ers, Raiders, Steelers and Colts do not need to destroy their logo and uniforms because...they're better? The all white uni was epic.

Or their teams just don't 'suck'

Classy, professional, iconic, patriotic, attractiveAs a kid, the all white uniform said forces of good. The honorable White Knights. Walking off the field at the end of the game, grass and mud clearly visible told me they fought, and fought hard.
I'm just shocked that nobody you knew had a Patriots sweatshirt or hat or drinking glass with a logo on it. I remember seeing it around all the time in the 70's growing up. You must have grown up in the sticks or something. Oh well, I loved the old logo and was at the game when we voted by cheering loudly to keep the logo. It's a shame they changed it.This was pre-Internet with nothing but grainy bunny ears TV and the occasional photo in the sports page. It would be ludicrous NOW, but back then, not so much.
