The really nonlinear season in there is 1988.

Out of sheer desperation, Berry put Doug Flutie in at the end of the Colts game, and as usual, Doug pulled out a victory at Foxborough.

We proceeded to win, including beating the Bears and Bengals, and set ourselves up for a playoff run. Flutie was 7-3, including the refs stealing a game from us in the Hoosier Dome.

Berry then benched Flutie because he had no respect at all for him, and he as always loved Tony Eason.

So, instead of having a chance at the world championship, we stayed home with nothing.
