Realistic Draft Class for New England (Is Ninkovich really the answer)

1 ~ Did I mention any of those guys?

2 ~ Did I confine my statement to "draftable"?

Please try to refrain from fabricating my Arguments.

My bad, let me put it this way: There may be 20 guys or more in this years class of runningbacks who have the size to become inside runners in the NFL, but not all of them have neither the athleticism, vision, running style or aggressiveness to become one.

Thanks, Brother Soul. Much obliged.

As you say: We disagree.

I'm saddened by that. I thought we were having a light humoured debate. I never viewed the add player issue all that problematic. I apologise if I rubbed you up the wrong way. I never intended to be argumentative - just to support the notion that Ingram and Pouncey were good picks.

That shows immense Class, Manx. I'm very gratefull.

Perhaps we can start over with a clean slate.

I agree, that does show class. And from you too, OTG for pointing that out.

We can and will talk and debate who BB is targeting or going to pick over and over for the next 3 weeks, but at the end of the day only one man's opinion will matter anyway, so it's pointless for anyone to get into a pissing match etc.

I believe that we're all hardcore Pats fans--on the boards at 5am, in the beginning of April, and in the middle of a lockout to boot!! We are all going to have lots of different opinions on how we measure targeted players, and whether or not they'd be upgrades or potential busts.

In the bigger picture of it, I'd much rather stay cool with just about everyone here than really care one way or another to be completely honest with you. We all should trust in Belichick, and look forward to another great season.

Whether or not Mark freaking Ingram has the potential to be better than BJGE, I truly have no idea? BJGE's ball security skills are very important, and DaBruinz makes a great point. I also believe that he is slower, as another poster pointed out, more of a plodder (as BB even points out) who needs more blocking. Ingram or better yet, Leshoure--can possibly give us more breakaway speed and be a potential RB1, but as Dabruinz points out--at what cost? We could go round and round with this for weeks in my opinion. There will always be 2 different opinions and likely no clear cut answer.

... completely unintentionally, I seemed to have annoyed two regulars of this forum. That was never my intention, I only wanted to talk the Patriots and the draft, an opportunity I don't get elsewhere.
And the sun rises in the east, let not your heart be troubled by regulars in a snit, some of us will tussle with you over the spelling of the letter "a" in a sentence. :beatingcoming: :yeeha:
