Unless it's a credible media outlet or a reputable reporter, please do not start threads regarding any reports/rumors. This seems to be more of an issue this offseason and I'm requesting that we don't do that going forward. There have been several issues regarding signings that hadn't happened yet, as well as other reports that weren't accurate. I'm not going to argue about the person's long-term record, it's not allowed and it will be closed or deleted.

I know a lot of people come here looking to find out about the latest headlines and I'd like for that to continue and want to make sure only credible stuff is posted. So I appreciate everyone's cooperation.

Bumping it to make sure everyone is aware of it.

Re: Posting News Threads - PLEASE READ

Just to clarify - I don't mind people posting legitimate rumors, but there are people on Twitter, etc. throwing things out there for the sake of gaining followers, attention, etc. and it's creating confusion on other reports. For example, according to one bogus site Cribbs signed with Arizona back on Tuesday, Welker's contract with the Patriots was done and "imminent" on Monday, etc., a fake Revis trade report - it's getting out of control and I'd like to put an end to it.

So rumors, trades, signings, etc. can be posted - but only from real reporters and legitimate media outlets. Hopefully that clears things up after a few PM's I've gotten about it. Any questions, feel free to shoot me a note
