It's serious. If I was Brady there is only one thing my current money couldn't buy, and that's my legacy. I would be much more focused on how I could increase my legacy than what fancy thing I could buy next. Money isn't forever but legends never die.

What are you talking about dude, seriously? When has Brady EVER put money above the team and it's fortunes? He's restructured his contract SEVERAL times over the years to get cap space to a rate in which guys could come in from off the street. That's why next year the Pats will have the MOST CAP SPACE they have had in the BB era. So they'll be able to take care of their own and then some, and STILL be able to get a FA or two.

And as for his legacy, that's set in stone. Even more so if they win tonight. So that is out of the question.

He doesn't need a bigger star WR other than Edelman.
If Brady played for free they would use the money on something different than WR.
Haven't you caught in yet? Patriots don't need to spend big on wr because Brady elevates whoever they get.
Spend the money on the pieces Brady can't make better.
