Of course subjective and 1 writers opinion ... I found it interesting.

Is there any method to these rankings? Theoretically if every one of them became an FA tomorrow, what would the pecking order and contract value in descending order? I don’t claim to know this, but I’m also not writing a definitive article ranking them. This the apparent criteria from the the previous SI article linked (Top 16):

But the best backups are the ones who know their role and the playbook, and the ones who offer a spurt of confidence when disaster strikes.

Such a lazy excuse for an article…purely shooting from the hip. Given SI’s fall from grace, I’d think they’d have higher standards than this. This is ranker.com level stuff.
