Randy who?

Randy was a good player for us but it was time to move on. Let's not put him down and forget all the good things that he did for this team.

This x1,000,000. Moss did a lot for us when he was here. Lets not put him down now that he's moved on.

yeah definitely. I was just annoyed today by post after post when we were losing saying "if moss was here..." just support the team you have and enjoy the ride

I wish Randy well ... and that long throw to Tate today rather sucked. lost in all the Moss talk was that brady does not throw a great long ball ... he did for a few years. I think Brady throws the ball on the rope way better and Moss likes the ball to drop in.

So we move on ... a good pairing became a burden ... sports is like that.

I agree. It's human nature to put something down once it's no longer part of your life and forgetting all of the good about it. I really hate when people do that.

There's no question that the O looked more balanced, but let's not get carried away and let's not forget all the amazing games that Randy did have in a Patriot uniform. What if Branch doesn't catch another pass? He had a really good game today, but it was only his first game back. Let's see what happens going forward.

Amen to that. He certainly gave the offense a facet. I kind of like Breer's analogy yesterday of taking the expressway versus taking the slower scenic route.

Appreciated Moss
The Zombie returns, Bigtime!

I'm as excited as anyone from today, but it's way too early to celebrate.

That said, without the drops this could have been a very good outing by the offense. Overall it was pretty solid, still room for improvement, although it was the Ravens we were facing.

Coming into today the Ravens defense averaged 278 yards of total offense allowed and 15.5 points per game allowed.

The Pats put up 394 yards of total offense and 23 points. They put up more yards through the air today than what the Ravens average for total yards allowed in a game.

A +8 in the scoring department is huge. This team will put up monster numbers against average defenses.

I'm happy we won and Branch looked pretty good out there today, but this thread is stupid and wreaks of blind Moss hatred.

A Mossful team with a worse QB against a better Ravens defense scored 27 points last year in regulation. I don't know what game some of you watched, but the offense was FAR from clicking on all cylinders.

I'm not going to put any hate on Moss. Like Icy says, he made a lot of great contributions to this team in his time here and we should all appreciate his contributions.
But for whatever reason, he's gone now and I'm not going to boo hoo this as a dire situation for this team. We have a good team with or without him.
Having said that, there is only one thing left to add...Thank God we picked up Branch.

This...................

You're opinion of yourself: WAY OVERRATED!

not at all....... Eagle Eye was a crap moviebtw.

Faulk this year does not even register on the same scale as Danny.

I am glad he got hurt because we found a better option in Woodhead. I respect what he did for the team in the past..... but the past is the past.

Randy was also replaceable....... both players are gone and our offense is even better. I call it like it is. Do not cry b/c of my brutal honesty.

Randy Moss and Keith Faulk are staring in the remake of the "Expendables":rocker:

Do not cry...... Lovers of Moss and Faulk. At this point of their careers they can be replaced by younger blood.

Crit of 2010 Faulk is SO bogus. Do these posters watch the games? Oh, I forgot. Kevin dropped 2 catchable passes, just berfor he made a key catch. My bad. He's human.

no dude........ Faulk is old

Woodhead is younger and a few steps quicker. Who do you take if you are building a winner??? Old bones?

THIS.

It's funny how Branch clearly dropped passes that Moss WOULD have caught. Who knows we could have lost we could have won, but to disrespect Moss after winning by 3 points shows NO class at all. Randy left on good terms, the organization still has tremendous amounts of respect from him, secondly I'm pretty sure anybody could come up with 9 interceptions, with at least 4 of them being a failed screen or two.

I'm glad to have Branch back just like anybody else, but I will NOT and NEVER will disrespect another player to justify another being gone. Classless imho.

No question that he is younger and quicker, but Faulk was still so clutch for us earlier in the season. Or have you forgotten the catches he made? I would love to see both Faulk and Woodhead in the backfield right now on third downs. Talk about a team that would be unstoppable on third and short.

Get to bed kid. School starts early tomorrow morning.
