Randy Moss talks Patriots vs Ravens

“A lot of concerns for me Monday night with the Patriots are problems they’ve had in the past with Dean Pees’ defense. I’m anxious to see how well the offensive line is able to play and how they’re going to protect Tom [Brady], and being able to get that ball out on time. I think when you look at the past of the games with the Ravens, the Ravens tend to like to have Tom pat that ball, keeping him in the pocket, and keeping that ball in his hands. So I think this is one of those games, a Monday night game, could actually catapult this offensive line, knowing this Ravens defensive front is very good. I think as the offensive line goes, Tom goes. As the offensive line goes, LeGarrette Blount goes. I just think a lot of stuff really relies on the offensive line.”

David Andrews worries me, but i give him a chance to put me in the wrong

In the past 3 games against the Jets, 49ers and Rams all weak teams we couldn't get the offense going in the first half. That can't happen against the Ravens IMO.we have to get ahead and stay ahead no come from behind with this team.

I think NE will shock a lot of the naysayers Monday. I predict NE drops 30.

I would be surprised if New England drops 30 against the Ravens. To me it depends on how New Englands defense plays against Flacco and the passing game. Just about every game Baltimore has played in has been by a touch down or less, barring a couple games and of course their blowout win against Miami last week. Baltimore gave up 27 to Dallas and 28 to the Raiders. Thats the most points they have given up all season.

If the Pats had Gronk I would give 30 a good chance.

Not too concerned about the big bad Ravens. I am concerned about the beat up and battered Pats. Hopefully they had a good week of practice and have a better game plan then they did for the Rams.

Losing Gronk and an injured Bennett are two things that shouldn't be said in the same breath.

I have been saying this for years and years, this teams goes as the big boys up front go. Matt will put up a D that will be stingy on points, give the GOAT time and he will make Griff Whalen look like Jerry Rice...

Rams at the half was 17-3, Pats. That's not good?
Where do you think the offense is going to come from when they start playing good defenses?

I'm sure he's grateful.

I can understand your comment if you've been watching the games from home this year but if you've actually been going like some of us have, you'd know that Bennett is playing on a pegleg, I'm talking a Long John Silver style pegleg.

Dola aint comin back any time soon.

Edelman isnt even close to 100%. Please show me where his electrifying runs have gone?

Hogan is good but he's already been in a few car crashes on the field and I'm not feeling great about him staying healthy enough to carry the offense the rest of the way.

That leaves us with the rookie, Mitchell. He's healthy and I love the kids game but not feeling great about a rookie carrying us through the gauntlet we're going to face in the next few weeks and playoffs.

If I'm defending the Pats right now I stay in base every time Blount is on the field. Lewis isn't 100% yet. White is the the better option for now. Moss is spot on with his analysis; this is all on the O Line right now, at least until Bennett is healthy enough to force defenses into nickel.
I am a STH and go to the games, so thanks but I don't need the in person insight.

Your reply to my post isn't very apropos IMO.

This is a QB league and we have the best... and very good tools around him,

I guess I'm just a little more positive than you are.
