Troy Brown was too good a football player to leave out.
I chose Morgan, Brown, and Edelman.

Welker and Moss were very tough ommissions.

the worst part of the Welker drop in SB 46 is that he had 7 catches on 8 targets

That was unfortunately something Pats fans focus on. His drop against Baltimore to open the 2nd half the following year was another stain on his career. I had no problem with him leaving after those drops. Same with Talib when he kept tapping out of title games with boo boo's.

While Welker blows Edelman out of the water statistically, Edelman made the crucial catches when Welker didn't. Edelman could've just made sure the ball hits the ground against Atlanta, but made the effort to dive and make the catch.

Fryer had 12,800 yards with a 15 ypc average.
Julian is more recent and familiar with younger fans but had 6800 yards and 11 ypc average. All with Patriots. But if you exclude Fryars seasons with other teams then that rule should apply to Moss.

Welker had 9900 yards, a better career than Edelman, but is more remembered for one drop.

If the question is “best receivers to play for the Patriots” it’s hard to exclude Fryar.
If it’s “best Patriots career” then Moss is a tough argument.

I would need to watch that again. I thought it was an extremely difficult catch, twisting from one side to the other. I never blamed him.

I chose only one because there can only be one all time Patriot WR.

Agree.
And yet he’s seldom considered on the same level as Edelman although he produced almost 50% more.

I would've put Deion in there, but he left us. I also wish Randy Moss was a permanent Pat, but the couple years he gave us were awesome. Darryl Stingley RIP!

Stanley Morgan - Sentimental fav
Irving Fryar - Did nothing as a WR for NE
Troy Brown - Biggest heart on the whole list
Terry Glenn - Wish we had him now, 2nd most talented on this list
Deion Branch - SB MVP for us in a win, nuff said.
Wes Welker - 1st down machine, except that one SB with the Giants...
Julian Edelman - Foxboro forever (great show host too)
Randy Moss - 2nd best WR of all time, he makes the list

Honorable mention to Mr. Playoffs/Dola - Danny Amendola

Moss
Stanley Morgan
Edleman
