Random: What type of coverage do you like best from beat writers?

Give me writers that are knowledgeable enough that they can add to my experience as a fan of the game.

IOW give me Matt Chatham, Christoper Price, etc., that may see something that I missed. Give me defiant defenders of the wall such as Tom Curran, Michael Hurley and Chatham. Give me Mike Reiss, preferably with anyone other than his current employer. Jeff Howe and Karen Guregian are pretty good with the Herald. I can't think of a single Boston sports talk guy (tv or radio) that I have any desire to listen to. I much more enjoy listening to podcasts such as Miguel with Russ Goldman and Steve B, or Pats Propaganda.

Most importantly please place in the nearest receptacle those that do everything they can to create a contrived controversy. We all know who they are, their names are not worth repeating. It is pitiful that some of these scums of the earth are still employed, covering Boston area sports.

anybody that writes "death to the Goondell!" will garner my undying, loyal readership...in fact, my perfect coverage would be nonstop coverage no matter where the Goon shows his face with constant badgering for answers to all the overt LIES he's been vomiting out the past 11 years over the airwaves and in print. "WGOON...all Goon all day !"...every day on the afternoon drive, the hosts will play "Pin The Semtex Tail On The Goonkey!". I'd PAY for a subscription.

Given that this was posted at 3AM, I guessing Joker would like late night, or very early morning coverage!.

Prefer game breakdowns and nuts & bolts type of articles.

frankly, I think Zolak is by far his best on 98.5 during football season when he has games to break down and talk about

Matt Chatham does a great job breaking down film as well.

Training camp write ups are always interesting. Also little known things about the Patriots organization... Like club house rules when in a hotel if any and also breaking down plays and why they work or don't work.

Also interesting person pieces CAN be good if there is something really interesting there. I don't care for tough upbrinings or how players do charity work though it is nice to know. For instance I think Brady's health and work out stuff is interesting to read about as well as Amendola being the first active player model. Just odd, outside the norm things like those.

I like baseless speculation and "HOT TAKES!!!!!1!!1!1!!". Anything extreme and provocative to get me riled up and pissed off before I start my morning commute to start my day off right!
