I love how people rush to an emotional judgement and try to bolster it by using something as emotionally charged as rapist as an example.

It's like "think of the children"

No emotional judgement at all........I never cared for him anyway......not the sort I enjoy rooting for.......having a pro sports team win just isn't that important to me

Just be honest - if I searched your post history right now would I find even one post about how Hernandez was a bad pick and was a thug or anything like that?

What diddnt you like about him? Before all of this

Also, All I think people want from their sports teams is for them to win. Obviously nobody wants it at the expense of having criminals and murders on the team. But we dont know what happened yet and what he is guilty of. Of course if you are looking for quality people to root for, football is probably not the place.

That's not the point........I just never liked him as a person........for the record, I don't like Talib, Spikes, Blount, and Edelman either......I don't have to sit here protesting them to not like them. We will see about Dennard

I think with the opportunities they are given, their stupidity is amazing

The signs were there, but who's going to gripe about taking a chance with a 4th round pick.

They don't have to be choir boys........but to put yourself and your team in this situation after the team commits to you the way it did is inexcusable

Choosing rapist was arbitrary
No, it was wrong.

......it is obvious that in the name of improving your teams chances, you are perfectly willing to turn a blind eye to the person or the things they have done.........

You know as well as I do that I never said anything resembling that, and you have dug yourself in a whole and must create something out of thin air to cover yourself.

you brought up 100% innocent......obviously, it is too late for that now......except for you
I have made absolutely zero conclusions. I started on this topic saying that it is silly to make a judgment without the facts.
I have stated numerous times he may be the shooter.
Reference to 100% innocent was only in response to your claim that he will be disciplined by Goodell even if he did nothing. Your comment I quoted above, saying guilt by association is enough, which was and still is thoroughly wrong.

Your comprehension is the issue here.

You said he will be disciplined even if he did nothing.
I responded that Goodell can not and will not discipline someone who is 100% innocent.
See that has nothing to do with whether Hernandez is guilty or innocent (Ive made no claim either way because there are not sufficient facts) it is about your stupidity in claiming that guilt at any level is unnecessary.

Recap:
I don't know what Hernandez did.
I do know you are wrong.

I agree with that.Do you like Tom Brady?

No, it was wrong.

Roethlisberger was 100% innocent.......then explain

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was suspended Wednesday for six games for violating the NFL's personal conduct policy, the league announced.

Commissioner Roger Goodell handed down the punishment a week after prosecutors decided not to charge Roethlisberger in a case involving a 20-year-old college student who accused him of sexually assaulting her in a Georgia nightclub in March.

You are wrong

I don't see it.......attempt comprehending again

Well its right there, you said it.
Apparently you cannot comprehend your own words.
Guilt by association is enough means that you are saying he would be disciplined, suspended, cut even if he were an innocent bystander. You are wrong.
It really is insulting to everyone's intelligence when you realize you are wrong then try to pretend you didn't say it. Luckily we can just repost it, as I did.

Explain that to Ben roethlisberger

Where did I say anything about innocent bystander? Kind of obvious he is not that.......if he was a bystander and didn't call the cops, so much for that notion

Admit it Andy, you are praying.

As I said before, I wish the whole thing never happened......too late for that

Your repeated attempts to plug the complete innocence notion is merely a pipe dream....not sure why YOU keep bringing it up

He's ok.......why do you ask?

A lot of people can't stand him and think he is worse than some of the guys you mentioned.

Anyway, I look at sports as a team and try not to get to invested into the characters of the players. Especially in football. I mean we are talking about football players here and I am sure if you put every one of them under a microscope you would find something you dont like. Which is why again I look at it as the Patriots and not what each player represents as a person.

Football is just not a place to be looking for character guys. I see why you might not like AH, or Talib, or Edelman, or Spikes, and have a right to not like them. I just accept it as part of football otherwise it would take away the enjoyment of the game for me.

Well, technically AH is completely innocent at this point. Probably wont come out of this squeaky clean but right now he is innocent. That is the way our justice system works for better or worse.

Worse? In what way.......I wasn't a fan of the kid he had with Moynihan , but if everyone is happy, who am I to say.......to me it's more about his cheesy wife, but I'd probably done the same thing in his shoes

And my point was that Goodell can still suspend him......Andy says I am wrong......Ben roethlisberger proves otherwise.....the court of Goodell moves in a completely different way.......you can be suspended just for making the league look bad.....it's in the policy

Having the kid with Bridget and bolting.

Yeah, but they're all millionaires.......seems in the end no one was jilted, so beyond the the their legit kid thing, who am I to say?

Just curious....what don't you like about Edelman?

That's not the point

Yes, it is the point. I'm asking you about your opinion and whether or not it is something you've just decided to say.

........I just never liked him as a person........for the record, I don't like Talib, Spikes, Blount, and Edelman either......I don't have to sit here protesting them to not like them. We will see about Dennard

How can you not like Edelman but take a wait and see attitude about Dennard? Edelman touched a girl's hand in a nightclub. Dennard was found guilty of a crime. Have I missed something else that Edelman has done or do you believe touching a girl's hand is assault?

I think with the opportunities they are given, their stupidity is amazing

And rather than sitting here pontificating as if you knew it all along can you honestly say you have ever stated your dislike of Hernandez on this or another forum prior to these events? Can you see how that looks like you are just using hindsight?
