I suspect you might have felt that way because of how far the team had fallen in comparison to the heights they'd ascended to. Sure back to back 4-13 seasons sucked but the Pats have had all of 4 losing seasons in the past 25. The Brownies have only had 4 winning seasons in the last 25. We were crushed by a couple of 4 win seasons, the Browns have averaged 5 wins a season over the past quarter century. Even back in the Patsies days we never suffered like Brownies fans have, they went through a 4-44 stretch, we can't feel their pain. No one outside of maybe the Washington Generals can, and they don't have fans

Spot on! . I along with most was not prepared.

The Browns made a great trade out of #2, but then in Browns fashion they squandered a lot of the gains with the two QB picks.

Sanders was passed up for a QB many had rated a UDFA talent, and then two rounds later drafted Sanders to make their QB room not so much talented, as combustible.
