Good win for San Diego, congrats. I don't see what Turner did to get props. He put in his backup qb and running back when his starters went out. What other options did he have. Why does he continue to throw challenge flags on close plays in which he would clearly lose? I give a lot of credit to the Chargers, but just didn't see any coaching genius going on.

well..he called a good game in my opinion. kept the colts D off balance.

For a coach who was always criticized throught the season for not delivering with all the talent , he delivered today with 2 of his top players out with injury and that to LT with a "probable" status. He won with his backups proving the mediots that it wasnt just him early on.
if LT plays next after being termed 'probable' to return after the 1st quarter then he is biggest whiner i have known who didnt strap it up for his team in the big game.
frankly volek makes me more worried than rivers considering our lack of success against backup qb's but this is a champ game and i expect everyone to play.

Yea, Norv deserves some props. You're right. A lot of the crap SD was dealing with earlier in the season was more about players being resistant to change than it was about Norv's coaching ability.

I'll put it another way. I don't think we even get to Foxboro if Marty was coaching this team.

you wouldnt get to foxboro if LT was in the game getting his touches. norv wouldve had to deal with a huge ego to bench LT and bring turner him. the injury did him a favor IMO.
