Rather, he doesn't fit the profile. The question then shifts to his ability to play the scheme despite profile nonconformity? Myself, I would go in a different direction because what little I've seen isn't conclusive enough to commit to him in a 3-4, but that's not to say he couldn't 'git'er done.' I'll also grant the point that Florio and Company mocking for NE is a stike against him, but I'm not going to get down on the kid for their sorry stench.

do we know whether he may possibly be projecting as a 3/4 DE in the pros? DE is a position we could add to so if this is the case, i dont think its that out of the ordinary. just because we need other positions, if this guy is that much better than the other guys available, id have no problem taking him
