No, that was Patrick Peterson. Semi off-topic, but I found it odd that Prince Amukamara was the second-highest rated rookie in Madden 12 given his place in the draft.
I know he was highly touted though.
He certainly was -- tremendous athlete and reportedly a high-character guy too. I won't shed any tears for the Giants, but it's a real shame for a young player like Amukamara to have such a nasty injury before his career can even get started.
This sounds like the Ty Law type of injury that caused him to miss the whole second half of the 2004 season.
That's a real shame, truly sucks to see a guy suffer an injury of that magnitude before he's even played a game. Hopefully he can make it back to 100%.
Yeah I agree; hopefully for Amukamara's sake he is able to make a complete recovery. Tough way to begin your NFL career.I hope they do the right thing with the kid, and avoid rushing him back. Foot injuries that don't heal right the first time can become career ending, or at least chronic, problems for athletes.
