The thing I like about all of these 3rd down backs is that they look like they actually run the 4.4 Vereen ran, Vereen looked much slower, but he ran great routes and had fantastic hands for a RB.

Lewis still shows the most as a dual threat runner/receiver like Woodhead.

Yeah, Lewis looks better than White. Pass protects better too.

Some people on here made some very interesting comments about Harper before Gibson* got a little hurt.

Hope he is okay. Looks like a strong PS candidate to me who might actually see a few snaps this season.

Both look good. I still think White looks better in the open field with the ball in his hands but he needs to work on his pass protection.

Harper can easily replace Dobson. Although I can't remember actually seeing any receptions by Dobson since he is off the field so often!

Definitely came up limping, so looks that way. Hopefully it's nothing significant.

Looked bad and he grabbed his knee at first but I think may have been an "oh ****" thing rather than an actual injury, he popped up and ran off the field.

Harper and Gibson go out there and actually play and don't drop the ball. I think they are deserving of being on the 53 man roster more than Boyce or Dobson at this point.

Harper catches the ball...I mean, we're not all mass hallucinating...THIS kid is a keeper. Think David Givens...always gets open, always makes the catch...and there goes Gibson...damn

That's the same comparison I was thinking of for Harper. Givens had some size on him, so it's far from a perfect comp, but I could see Harper carving out a somewhat similar niche for himself.

Why do thye keep saying the Saints aren't blitzing? I've seen a few 5+ man rushes against him, I think even the last play we had on offense looked like a 6 man rush.
