Sam is an angry delusional man.
They don’t seem to comprehend that Maye is winning in spite of his circumstances; Nix has a damn near perfect situation. Even if his running game is below average (nowhere near bad 118 ypg & 4.5 ypc), it still balances out due to that dominant Denver OL. You can barely touch Nix (19 sacks allowed). The entire world knows Maye is superior, but they just play stupid; or maybe they just are…

I expect us to elevate two defensive front seven players. Barmore, Durden and Gregory are not nearly enough.

I suppose Tavai could play some DL.
They just used Jennings for some DL Snaps. They also moved Tavai for some edge snaps.

Going with just 4 WR would be a surprise, in all honesty. Especially since Diggs has been playing so much out of the slot.

Douglas did line up all over the place for Liberty, but has been primarily playing out of the slot with the Pats.

Sam wants Denver to win the Super Bowl so he can claim that Nix is the spunky gamer and true heir to Brady's legacy. He just can't get ver being wrong about everything.

I have faith in Efton Chism.

SOS is actually a recorded stat on BSPN NFL standings.

Pats only team with SOS below .400

They'll probably put an asterisk on it if we go all the way
If so then they also need to do that for Denver if they go all the way because they have a lower Strength of Victory than us.

Your faith will be tested. Diggs,Williams and
Chism are the only healthy was. It sounds highly unlikely that Pop will play.
Travel will need to elevate one guy from PS as well.

Wouldn’t it be something if that 4th quarter unlocked a whole new level of Drake ‘Drake Maye’ Maye. He was completely unstoppable. Same with Diggs, and Rhamondre looked at least somewhat like the 22 rham.

Just hope we can get some kind of burst in run d. Milton Williams is eligible to return i think.
Looks as if we will be waiting at least another week to see milt..

As I said, I have faith in Efton Chism III.

People have been doubting these rookies all season, and they have delivered when they got their opportunities.

Campbell was crapped all over, he's shown he is going to be a franchise left tackle.

Henderson was doubted when Stevenson was getting the reps early on, when he got his chance he showed that he's as dangerous as any back in the league,

Kyle Williams was doubted when he was buried on the depth chart, he's made huge plays when he got his opportunities.

Jared Wilson ended up starting almost the entire season.

Craig Woodson was one of their least liked picks when they took him, he won the starting job right out of the gate and he's played really well all season.

Josh Farmer has been depth and part of the rotation and solid depth for them.

Some wondered why Borregales won the job, and he's been money for the most part.

There are others I could mention, like Ashby and Bryant, but overall this rookie class has delivered big time for this team, and I think Chism will do the same when he sees the field and gets his opportunities. It was a great draft, and they will all be substantially better after this coming offseason. If they have another offseason like this last one they are going be in great shape long term.

Seems like a game the TEs will be heavily involved in.. lots of Diggs, Henry and Hooper I'd imagine. Anything we get in the run game would be a welcome site.

Among the starters already ruled out are wide receivers Kayshon Boutte (concussion) and Mack Hollins (abdomen); defensive end Harold Landry III (knee); linebacker Robert Spillane (ankle) and left guard Jared Wilson (concussion).

Meanwhile, Vrabel said defensive tackle Milton Williams (ankle) will not be activated to the active roster this week after being designated to return from the injured reserve list on Tuesday. Williams' projected replacement, Khyiris Tonga, will also miss Sunday's game with a foot injury, according to Vrabel. In addition, reserve receiver DeMario "Pop" Douglas is questionable with a hamstring injury.

So many impactful players. Crossing my fingers we can get back to full strength for the next 5 games.

Let's go back to September 23, 2001. The Patriots, ranked number 29 by Dr. Z after losing their first game of the season, have just lost for a substantial time their starting quarterback, Drew Bledsoe. They now have the unknown Tom Brady leading them. I guess they should fall to 31 or 32 in the rankings and stay there till Bledsoe returns.
No, if they knew that Brady was the GOAT, power ranking should have moved us to #1 or #2 behind LA. As it stood with their top QB out and an unknow 6th rounder stepping in, they were reasonable with 29.

I think that we are much weaker in our run defense.
======
Diggs, Henry, Williams, Hooper, Stevenson and Chism are the targets for Maye. That should be more than enough.
=================
OTHER POSSIBILITIES
A) Henderson
B) I do expect Douglas to play. That is the role of a #5 WR: to play when necessary, even if injured.
C) Jiles
D) Dippre

One potential concern: Jete special teams being a field-position equalizer. I believe they're league leaders in this one area. If that helps them and the Pats inexplicably turn the ball over, this game could be more of a struggle than we want to imagine.

Also as has been pointed out, our run defense being hampered by injuries plays into what might be considered a somewhat competent Jete rushing attack. What we REALLY want them to do is throw the ball, since they have no one who can reliably pass or receive.

At least the weather report is good -- low 40s with light wind and no precipitation forecast.
