Wolf has a title. So what? He does what Vrabel tells him to do. We will see if he’s around or not. I think it depends on how he performs from here on out.

This is Mike Vrabel’s team. I don’t think that guy would have it any other way.
Where in this is there any justification for Wolfe's continuing to have a role?

"We'll see if he's around or not." What does this mean? Do we really have to be this gutless and passive in making personnel decisions?

Why would you want to keep someone around in such a position if their contribution is limited to their "doing what they are told"? He is not a gofer, or is he?

We have seen over a number of years under three HC's "how he performs." Why do we need further evidence of his incompetence?

Your view is soft-headed. Guys get fired for doing a lousy job, and should: deal with it.

He does have sort of rodent look.

What evidence can you offer for any of this? The facts of the matter shows that drafts in which Wolf has had a hand have been dismal for a number of years now. If you wish to deny the clear implications of this undeniable correlation, you must offer evidence which supports your assertions of Wolfe's competence. What is it?
I said I dont think he had a hand in the decisions based on the verbal exchanges I observed during the draft. I did not offer anything as fact since there is no evidence as such, this is not a trial. However you said the draft was dismal for several years which was during Bills time. Do you think Bill did not have the final say on the draft? What evidence do you have that indicates Wolfe made draft decisions under Bill. What is it?

I am not advocating for him to play an active role in the building of the team. I simply said he can handle the other tasks associated with the job. Regardless of what you and I think the people who know the real deal seem to be ok with him as he still is on the payroll. And thats a fact.

What in the world are you talking about? He has not participated in or overseen a single draft under three head coaches which can be regarded as successful. His record with free agents is abysmal. His re-signings last year ALL turned out to be foolish and overpriced. Are you his brother or something?

As for this argument that the fact he is on the payroll means he should not be subject to being fired, that is just pathologically silly.

We have heard a lot about the size of our staff compared to others across the league.

If we're trying to expand our staff then why not keep someone with his experience rather than filling it with a more entry level guy?

Today we will open another gift from Mayo that keeps on giving, by being fourth in line for waiver claims. It will be interesting to see who we actually miss out on and see if any of them actually become good role players.
Our needs might be:
A good swing tackle if Bryant isn't him
A good IOL/C in case Bradburry and/or Wilson struggle out of the gate
A backup LB in case Gibbens isn't that guy or a Tavai replacement. I think Tavai, if healthy, is ok though
A WR for obvious reasons. He'll have to be better than Chism though. I'm good with Chism. Trade Bourne
A DB of any sort, preferably a 5th CB
A 3rd TE if we decide to go that route
And maybe a backup interior DL
Let's not forget that most people are not comfortable with Dobbs as QB2 so we'll need a good QB3 for the practice squad
I also didn't list a RB as that would only be for the PS because we're good with the 3-headed monster we have now.

That's a long list and I would have preferred having first crack at these claims.

As you can see, our depth is lacking so we can't afford more than a couple of injuries to our starters or we're cooked.

This gift keeps giving for a few weeks too. I think it's after week 3 or 4 when they finally reset the waiver order based on this year's records.

Who says it has to be an "entry-level guy"? Wolf blows: deal with it. Vrabel already has his guy in house anyway: a very experienced guy, as a matter of fact, whom everyone believes will soon be a GM somewhere: why not here?

You have no argument.

Lol deal with it ... I could careless about Wolf either way just trying to justify why he's still here. If they shared the same opinion of you he'd be long gone.

I think retaining experienced personnel guys when your trying to expand your staff is a decent argument but if all you want to do is just hold a grudge against Wolf then there isn't much of a conversation to be had.

I would take Trask over Devito …..Trask is a great backup …can’t believe Tampa cut him
My wife is a Bucs fan so I watch a lot of them and Kyle Trash is not the guy. I would rather Devito, McChord, Buechele

I don't think he oversaw (shot caller) but one draft which was last year and it was a failure. I think his involvement in player decisions has been pretty much axed, which I agree with. No I am not his brother, did he sleep with your wife? Because you got it out for him when he is not the sole reason for the current state of the team. What is silly is you think he should be fired and yet the people who are intimately involved with team have yet to do so. But I guess you understand the situation better than they do and they are foolish for not listening to your forum rants.

They are fooli

They are indeed foolish if they keep the preening little punk. I have no opinion as to exactly why that is the case.

McCord is awful.

LOL. I thought he looked decent at Ohio St and then better at Syracuse

I will take your word for it because I do not know how he looked in the preseason.

He was terrible at Ohio State. They had a ton of weapons and he couldn’t get them the ball. I’m a buckeye fan. He was the worst QB in at least 20 years. They asked him to leave after the 23 season and found Howard, who wasn’t exactly great and won a national championship.
Didn’t he throw 6 picks (I think 3 were pick 6s) in a game for Syracuse last year?
He just doesn’t have the mentality or thought process to be a QB.

Regardless of what you and I think the people who know the real deal seem to be ok with him as he still is on the payroll. And thats a fact.

And that fact continues to be at our expense.

Both Ron Wolf's boy AND Al Groh's boy ****ing Suck. Get them THE **** out of the building, like, ****ing Yesterday.

Are you ****ing serious? Not even gonna add the Surely part to this one, it's so ****ing stupid a post.
